Critiques would be really really appreciated! Tell me anything you don't like, so I can improve it. (: (Thanks very much for all the help everyone! This has been much improved from all the input.)
Also, I have a tumblr now! [link], I've been posting scraps, wips, and studies there that I don't post anywhere else.

The overall layout is nicely panned. The open sky and moon gives a open and free feeling in this peaceful atmosphere. It's kind of hard to find originality in art these days and this scene and setting, at first glance, must have been done a few times. However I feel the water is a very original idea. Keep it up. Furthermore, I love how cold colors were used for most of the piece with an exception to the lighting around the girl which purposely catches the viewer's eyes. The contrast on the girls hair, for example, show you have a good control over your colors and the feeling you want it to give.
All in all, i think this is a very well done piece ^^
I really liked this picture-- the violet/rosy/dark blue palette you chose gave it a nice atmosphere, especially considering the fact that you gave it a nice transition (from reddish blue at the foreground to the darker, cooler blues in the back). However, I thought that having two light sources; one from the lamp and one from the moon; was a little confusing. I noticed the little lamp first, and only after a little bit of wandering around the picture I saw the moon. But you drew both of them well, especially the little lit parts of the clouds surrounding the moon, so bravo. Another little detail-- some of the things in your picture, like the two cafe tables (I'm assuming that they're cafe tables) behind the stairs and the three windows closer to the foreground are a little bit flat, in terms of their angle and the perspective. I liked your style and hidden detail, though. Overall, good job
i had a dream similar to this, a huge city where all the buildings elevated further and further up, like an atlantis, the colors were bright yet dark, sort of an evanescent, eary feeling. at night, the entire city would flood, and i went and swam with my friends to a festival we have here called zozobra, it was an amazing dream that i couldn't possibly describe as it was. this drawing really reminds me of that. thank you for providing such amazing inspiration with your talents :3
wow, sounds amazing. I wish I had more aesthetically pleasing/memorable dreams like that, they'd be fun to illustrate! I love when you get a reminder of the dream from seeing a new picture, too<3
