I really love your use of colour! The only thing I would suggest would be to sharply define the things that you want the viewer to focus on more? I like the sketchy quality but I think it would be nice if you could emphasis points of interest using that method? Keep up the great work. 8D
this is really nice! just a suggestion as you said critiques would be good.. i thought that maybe you could put more detail near the girl, and blur it away the further away you get from the girl, if that makes sense?
also maybe make the shadowed area towards the front more shadowy.. not darker, but less colour? - more dull? if this makes sense...
love the piece though! your work is really inspiring
As always, it's a really great work we have here!!! i think the thing i like the most in your paintings are the colours *__* the way they interact together, the ambicance they create, i just love it!! some parts of this one make me think about the impressionism !!! i've probably already asked, but, did you studied art in a school or by yourself?
Colors are always what I struggle with the most, thanks very much ;v; This was a really bright place and I didn't think photo-realistic colors suited it, so it's kind of a silly color scheme. Impressionism is such an amazing style, I really want to do some pieces inspired by it! Thanks so much. Nope it's self-study, I wish I had a chance to study art in school! (I have art classes, but it's not a class like I'm being taught, but that I have a place to sit where I can work on my projects like I do at home.) Hopefully I get into a good art school though and I can go next year.
