Hi guys! Just wanted to update things here - unlike last summer, I’m home for the next 3 months to work on personal projects/planning for my senior thesis project, so hopefully I’ll be able to post here a little more regularly! Otherwise, I post studies, wips, and updates more frequently on my tumblr or twitter- although I’ll still keep trying to make sure the best final pieces end up here as well! (:

Also wanted to mention that I’m selling some limited edition, 30"x21" giclée prints of my 50 Trees piece with the incredible Black Dragon Press! Since this is such a large piece, this is the only place I’ll be able to sell it online!

I'm home for the next couple weeks, relaxing and working on commissions. After that, I'm flying back to the east coast for a visual development internship with Blue Sky animation!! I am really, really excited c:

I've been missing the community here so I'm going to do my best to keep dA better updated this summer! (But if you guys are interested in seeing more frequent updates of sketches/wip, my tumblr or twitter still get most of that.)

Hello! Just a little life update, lots of great things have been happening recently!!

Last week I was awarded a Hugo award last week for Best Fan Artist (ie non-professional artist), for my work from 2013. A little before that I received one of the Student Scholarships to attend IlluxCon this September.  I'm incredibly grateful to everyone involved, and I'm so excited for the opportunities they represent!

This weekend I'm moving back to Baltimore for my 2nd year at MICA - lots of great classes this semester, so hopefully that means a lot of fun work to share with you guys! Besides that, for the last 2 weeks I've been working with a company in Baltimore at the most spectacular internship - I'm contributing to a fun project with a great group of people, getting paid to learn things I've been wanting to do for years..it's the best (:

Hi! Just wanted to let you guys know that I made a facebook page! I've never used facebook before, so if there's anything you guys want to see there let me know!! Otherwise, it's mostly just a mirror for my tumblr(process, studies, wip, sketches along with finished work) ;v; 

Anyway, hope everyone is having great winter holidays! I just got home from MICA last sunday, it's a big leap from 40 degrees to 30 below ahh haha.  So good to be home though, I'm going to try to get a lot of work done while I'm here C:
